North American Indians use it for respiratory complaints and for treating wounds - British use it for asthma, bronchitis and coughs.

The natural fragrance of oakmoss goes well with the scents of:  Cedar, clary sage, clove, cypress, galbanum, cistus labdanum, patchouli, pine, rosemary, sandalwood, vetiver, and some citrus oils like lemon, orange, or grapefruit.
