Maca extract comes from a hearty root that grows in the high Andes mountains of South America. Native Peruvians traditionally used Maca for its energy and stamina effects.  Maca, a member of the radish family, has been a forgotten herb until recently. However, the indigenous people of Peru have used Maca for centuries for its nutritional qualities.

Today Maca root is used to increase energy and support the immune system. It is also used to treat anemia, chronic fatigue syndrome, impotence, menopausal symptoms, and menstrual problems. This herb is said to lubricate stiff arthritic joints and help ease respiratory illnesses. It has also been suggested that Maca root can aid in fertility, and help overcome frigidity. Peruvian educational and scientific institution studies suggest Maca root can significantly increase sexual endurance and increase both the number and the activity of sperm.

Directions: For herbal capsule - Take 1 capsule three times daily, preferably with food.
