Pycnogenol can cross the blood-brain barrier and protect the brain and spinal nerves against free radical damage. It also protects the liver from damage caused by toxic doses of acetaminophen (non-prescription pain reliever). Pycnogenol strengthens and repairs the connective tissue, including the tissue of the cardiovascular system, supports the immune system and works to slow aging. This flavonoid also help moderate allergic and inflammatory reactions by inhibiting histamine production.
Directions:
Take 1 tablet for each 50-60 pounds of body weight for the first week or two. Thereafter, adjust intake to 1 tablet for each 100-120 pounds of body weight.
